Terminal Worker (Operations Attenants)We are currently hiring a full-time Operations Attendant for an on-site role at Houston, TX. This role supports the daily functions of our terminal, including tasks such as handling cement products, operating equipment, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring all work aligns with safety protocols. Additional tasks may involve routine maintenance, equipment operation, and assisting with various terminal duties as assigned by supervisors. The successful candidate will take on multiple logistics and materials handling responsibilities that help ensure operational effectiveness and continuity across the supply chain.Primary ResponsibilitiesComply with all safety standards, guidelines, and procedures at all timesPromptly report any accidents or safety incidentsConduct risk assessments before beginning any assigned taskOnly carry out work for which proper training and authorization have been receivedUse terminal equipment to unload cement from vessels or trucks into designated storage areasReview documentation to confirm shipment details for incoming and outgoing loadsOperate and monitor terminal machinery and equipment effectivelyRead and interpret equipment gauges, panels, and instrumentationCarry out equipment inspections at the beginning of each shift in line with preventive maintenance routinesParticipate in training programs to develop technical and operational skillsWork collaboratively with terminal staff to communicate updates and solve problems proactivelyPerform manual tasks with hand tools or other equipment as neededOperate mobile machinery such as skid steers, front-end loaders, forklifts, bobcats, hi-reach lifts, and other light-duty equipmentOrganize and execute preventive and corrective maintenance at the terminalTroubleshoot and assist in resolving equipment failures, including major repairsSupport additional terminal-related duties as requested by managementWhat We're Looking ForBackground in warehouse operations and material handlingSkilled in safe procedures for loading and unloadingAbility to perform regular maintenance on equipmentExceptional attention to detail and strong organizational habitsCapable of handling physically demanding work environmentsStrong verbal communication and team collaboration skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in the cement or construction industry is beneficialMust successfully pass background screening and drug testing
